A leading Israeli company representing a global manufacturer of advanced motion and drive technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical / Mechatronics / Robotics Engineer for a dynamic, customer-facing role at the intersection of engineering and business.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level, hands-on engineering position with significant exposure to customers, both technically and commercially. The role involves full-cycle support for leading clients across defense, medical, robotics, and industrial automation sectors – from requirement gathering to technical specification, solution design, and integration.

The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to engage with senior stakeholders in engineering, procurement, and project management teams. You will also work closely with the international vendor’s engineering teams to tailor high-performance motion and control solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, providing expert guidance on motion, drive, and mechatronics systems
• Translate functional needs into tailored engineering solutions at both component and system levels
• Participate in complex pre-sale processes, technical presentations, and solution workshops
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with engineering, production, and global partners
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior professionals in Israel’s top-tier industries, including defense, robotics, medical, and industrial automation

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering (or related field)
• Strong technical understanding of DC/BLDC motors, gearboxes, motion controllers, and automation systems
• High-level system thinking and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills – fluent in Hebrew and English
• Customer-facing experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or application engineering – strong advantage

Strong Advantage:

• Proven experience in leading complex sales cycles with senior engineering and business stakeholders
• Background in supporting motion & control projects in defense, medical, robotics, or automation industries
• Experience managing projects from development through to production, locally and internationally
• Ability to build trust and deliver value in high-end technical and business environments

אודות התפקיד:

מדובר בתפקיד הנדסי בכיר, משולב בעשייה מול לקוחות, הכולל ליווי טכני מלא של פרויקטים – משלב אפיון הצרכים, דרך תכנון והצעת פתרונות, ועד שלבי שילוב והטמעה.

במסגרת התפקיד תידרש/י לממשק ישיר עם גורמים בכירים בצד הלקוח (מהנדסי מערכת, רכש, מנהלי פרויקטים), ובמקביל לעבוד מול צוותי התמיכה והפיתוח של היצרן בחו"ל.

תחומי אחריות עיקריים:

• ייעוץ טכני ופתרון בעיות מול לקוחות – בדגש על מערכות הנעה, מכטרוניקה ובקרה
• אפיון טכני של פתרונות בהתאמה לצרכי הלקוח ברמת רכיב ומערכת
• השתתפות בתהליכי Pre-Sale טכניים מורכבים
• הובלת ממשקי עבודה מול צוותי פיתוח, ייצור ושרשרת אספקה – בארץ ובחו"ל
• פיתוח קשרים ארוכי טווח עם לקוחות מהמובילים במשק בתחומי ביטחון, מדיקל, רובוטיקה ואוטומציה

דרישות התפקיד:

• תואר ראשון בהנדסת מכונות / מכטרוניקה / רובוטיקה (או תחום רלוונטי)
• הבנה טכנית מעמיקה בטכנולוגיות הנעה: מנועי DC / BLDC, גירים, בקרים ומערכות תנועה
• יכולת קריאת שרטוטים והבנה מערכתית גבוהה
• כישורי תקשורת מצוינים ויכולת פרזנטציה בעברית ובאנגלית
• ניסיון בעבודה מול לקוחות עסקיים ו/או בתפקידים טכניים-מסחריים – יתרון

• ניסיון בהובלת תהליכי מכירה טכניים מול דרגים בכירים בתעשייה
• ניסיון בפרויקטים בתעשייה הביטחונית, הרפואית, אוטומציה ורובוטיקה
• הובלת פרויקטים מרמת הפיתוח ועד ייצור סדרתי, כולל תיאום בין-לאומי
• יכולת לייצר אמון מקצועי עם לקוחות בדרגים בכירים

אופק קידום והתפתחות:

לאחר תקופת הכשרה והשתלבות – קיימת אפשרות ממשית להתפתחות לתפקידי ניהול והובלת צוות, במיוחד למועמדים בעלי רקע אפליקטיבי/מערכתי וניסיון בהובלת תהליכים טכנולוגיים ומסחריים מול גופים מובילים בתעשייה.
