Software Architect

One of our clients, a leading technology company, is looking to hire a staff software engineer. Their client revolutionizes urban mobility by transforming intersections into smart, connected transportation networks, enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability using advanced hardware, software, and AI.

They are looking for a talented and experienced hands-on Staff Software Engineer to join their R&D team. In this high-impact role, you'll be making critical design decisions, leading cross-team and organization-wide projects, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and robust.

You will work with the chief architect, developing and maintaining their client's solution. The Architects team deals with the core of their client's solution and supports other teams.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Lead and design scalable software architecture across the entire development organization.
• Hands-on development, writing clean and efficient code.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to quickly deliver features.
• Perform architecture and code reviews and mentor engineers.
• Identify and implement architectural improvements to ensure scalability and performance.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years as a Software Architect, Staff, or Principal.
• Extensive experience in network protocols.
• Extensive experience with C++ / C / Go / Rust or similar.
• Extensive experience with scripting languages such as Python / Ruby.
• Extensive experience with Linux.
• A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
• Extensive experience with large-scale architecture and design patterns.
• Extensive experience with cloud or IoT-based products.
• Experience in setting up servers.
• Familiar with DevOps concepts.

Advantages:

• Experience in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Experience in NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis).
• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering.
