Vanilla Vida is reinventing the global vanilla industry through controlled-environment agriculture (CEA), innovative post-harvest processing, and end-to-end supply chain control.

We're hiring a VP R&D to lead our innovation center and drive the scale-up of our technology across global operations.

This is a strategic and hands-on role at the intersection of agriculture, food tech, and sustainability.

• Lead Vanilla Vida’s R&D Center and manage multidisciplinary teams (QA, Agronomy, Innovation).
• Own the roadmap for protocol optimization and scale-up execution.
• Ensure alignment between innovation and operational execution across global sites.
• Build robust systems for SOPs, analytics (e.g., ODOO), and knowledge transfer.
• Guarantee quality standards in vanilla processing: aroma, appearance, and vanillin content.

• 8+ years leading applied R&D in agri-tech, food-tech, or biotech environments.
• Experience managing high-performing professional teams and scaling lab-to-field protocols.
• Familiarity with CEA systems, post-harvest technology, and sustainable farming models.
• Strong English communication (spoken & written); Hebrew – advantage.
