Electronic Packaging Engineer

We are looking for an Electronic Packaging Engineer to join the Engineering & Systems Plant at the Missiles & Space Division of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Mechanical design and development of multidisciplinary systems in the defense and space sectors
• Advanced electronic packaging, manufacturing technologies, assembly methods, and verification and validation processes
• High-level mechanical design under strict environmental constraints such as thermal management, vibrations, and structural integrity
• Collaboration with multiple interfaces within and outside the division
• Meeting demanding schedules and project deadlines

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – required
• Over 5 years of experience in electronic packaging – required
• Experience in designing electronic circuit boards – required
• Experience in thermal analysis – advantage
• Experience in mechanical design of military electronic systems – strong advantage
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Siemens NX) – strong advantage
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-6, IPC-2221) – advantage
