Software Engineer – Research Infrastructure

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our research team within a leading algorithmic trading firm. You will work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to design, develop, and optimize the tools and infrastructure used for research, simulation, and model deployment. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering skills with a solid mathematical mindset and curiosity for markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance research and backtesting infrastructure in C++ and Python.
• Collaborate directly with researchers to implement, test, and optimize trading strategies.
• Integrate market data feeds, historical datasets, and analytics pipelines.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reproducibility of research workflows.
• Profile and optimize performance-critical components for low-latency and large-scale data processing.
• Support production transition of research code in a rigorous and testable manner.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Strong programming experience in C++ and Python .
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field- Only from Elite Univerity
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with numerical computing, time series analysis, or statistical modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative setting.
