Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Shipping Cost Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s global shipping cost processes. You will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, tracking performance, coordinating invoice flows, and ensuring cost-effective logistics through budget monitoring and strategic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate global shipping processes, cost performance, and shipping optimization .
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all invoices process with shipping suppliers and logistics partners.
• Manage the full lifecycle of global shipping invoices, ensuring timely coordination and accuracy.
• Generate detailed daily and monthly shipping cost reports and performance dashboards.
• Monitor shipping budgets in collaboration with finance and operations.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis across multiple systems to support cost optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to align shipping cost strategies.
• Lead and support ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives related to shipping costs.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  
  

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced reporting and data analysis functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and financial documents.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Solid problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  
  

• Prior experience working in or with shipping, freight, or logistics companies.
• Familiarity with SQL or shipping platforms.
• Experience in budget management or cost analysis in a logistics environment.
