Assistant Controller

About The Position

We’re hiring an Assistant Controller to join our Finance team and contribute to Stampli’s mission as an AI-first SaaS company. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented CPA graduate to grow in a high-tech, international, and data-driven environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations and reporting, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams that are leveraging AI tools to optimize business processes.

What You Will Do

• Support the Corporate Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Own core accounting processes: journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with external auditors and support all financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance frameworks.
• Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to drive process improvements—aligning with our AI-first initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cash flow reports and review statutory institutional filings.
• Support the implementation of automation tools and contribute to the AI-powered finance transformation journey.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• CPA qualification with internship at one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive learning mindset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or ERP systems is a plus.
• Comfort working in a technology-forward company—bonus points if you’re curious about AI tools used in finance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Entry-level: 1–2 years of post-internship experience is a plus, but not required.
