Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Back End Developer based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, with some flexibility to work from home. The Senior Back End Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end web applications. Daily tasks will include collaborating with front-end developers, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and ensuring software development best practices. The developer will also be involved in continuous integration, deployment processes, and optimizing system performance.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain data synchronization pipelines (e.g., managing large product catalogs and updating feeds).
• Design, implement, and manage robust RESTful APIs for internal microservices and external integrations.
• Handle large volume product catalogs, ensuring API performance and fast data throughput.
• Work with the product and operations teams to build scalable systems that support e-business growth.
• Debug, test, and improve backend functionality, ensuring reliability and minimal errors.

• Strong experience as a Back-end developer with data synchronization, feeds, large catalog handling, and APIs.
• Technical proficiency in one or more backend languages—such as Python, Node.js, Java, or PHP.
• Expert in database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and performance optimization.
• Experience deploying and integrating backend services using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and version control systems (Git).
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate with frontend engineers, product owners, and dev ops teams.
