Strategy & Ops Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically-minded individual to join our team as a Strategy & Ops Manager.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in project management and analysis, an analytical thinker and fast learner who can effectively drive strategic initiatives that align with our company's goals.

You will play a crucial role in developing and managing partnerships or other growth initiatives that not only fulfill business objectives but also add value to our long-term strategy.

What you'll do:

• Strategic Planning & Alignment: Work closely with leadership to ensure all projects and partnerships align with MyHeritage's strategic goals and vision.
• Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends that align with our strategic objectives.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and strategic goals.
• Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners, ensuring that collaboration is mutually beneficial and strategically aligned.
• Business Case Development: Develop and present business cases for new projects and partnerships, clearly outlining the strategic fit and expected ROI.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and integration into the broader company strategy.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the success of projects and partnerships against strategic objectives, making adjustments as necessary.
  
  

What you bring:

• Capacity and appetite for learning: this role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow with strong learning and ramp-up skills. In this role we will run fast, break through challenges and grow as professionals!
• Experience in classic analytical, data-driven problem-solving for strategic projects or problems in complex organizations, either as a consultant or in-house.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning and how to align projects and partnerships with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess business opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel modelling in the context of strategic deals or M&As
• Familiarity with our company's goals, values, and long-term strategy is a plus.

• Experience in developing and managing significant projects or strategic partnerships — a must
• Experience in a top-tier management consulting firm as — a plus
• Proven track record in problem solving in fast, highly complex and changing environments
• Experience with building business cases and business models for strategic projects.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Business Development certifications) are a plus.
