🎯 The Role: Founder‑in‑Residence

As a FiR, you’ll join our Sprint‑to‑Spinout track — starting with a 3–6 month part‑time sprint to explore and validate a venture idea:

• Bring your own concept, or
• Choose from our problem‑focused venture pipeline.

You’ll work side‑by‑side with our studio team on customer discovery, rapid prototyping, and early traction. Founders who succeed in the sprint move into post‑sprint incubation, with continued studio funding, operational support, and a clear path to CEO or Co‑Founder of a spinout company.

💼 Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead customer discovery and validate a high‑potential problem space

✅ Develop, prototype, or refine MVP concepts with our in‑house team

✅ Secure early signals — waitlists, pilots, LOIs, or first revenue

✅ Shape business model, GTM strategy, and investor narrative

✅ Join weekly studio check‑ins and cohort feedback sessions

✅ Transition to full‑time leadership during incubation if validated

🔍 Who You Are

✅ Experienced operator, product leader, ex‑founder, or deep domain expert

✅ Have built or scaled a product/startup or led significant innovation initiatives

✅ Already working on a compelling idea or eager to co‑build from a proven studio thesis

✅ Comfortable working in ambiguity and building from scratch

✅ Excited to validate before scaling — not just “build and hope”

✅ May be an immigrant, diaspora founder, or global operator ready to build from Canada (relocation optional at first)

✅ Passionate about solving real, high‑friction problems in our target sectors
