We are looking for a Chief Electrical Engineer to join the Tanoufa Division at IAI Headquarters.
The position includes:
• Full professional responsibility for IAI’s electricity infrastructure, including leading multi-year development of power supply sources and networks across all company levels
• Providing professional guidance to plant-level operations and maintenance teams to improve reliability and supply quality
• Planning oversight and supervision of electrical components in construction projects
• Company-wide energy management, including energy efficiency initiatives and cost reduction: performance monitoring, surveys, and reporting to senior management and the Ministry of Energy
• Initiating, specifying, and implementing digital systems for managing electrical and energy infrastructure
• Developing knowledge and efficient solutions: staying up to date with industry developments, leading investigations and lessons learned, guiding planning and execution processes, defining specifications, equipment standards, and framework agreements
• Conducting feasibility studies, providing professional consulting and opinions to company leadership
• Representing IAI professionally before official bodies and regulatory authorities such as the Israel Electric Corporation, Electricity Authority, Ministry of Energy, and more
What we’re looking for:
• Licensed Electrical Engineer with at least 12 years of experience – required
• Holder of a Type 3 Electrical Inspector license for at least 3 years – required
• At least 10 years of experience as a lead engineer in projects involving planning, energy management, and operation and maintenance of large-scale electrical systems – required
• Professional proficiency in components of private electricity networks, relevant standards and technologies, including:
– High voltage systems, protection systems, low voltage panels
– PV systems and energy storage
– Generators and synchronization systems
– UPS systems, frequency converters, lighting systems
– Building management systems, energy-saving technologies
– Energy management information systems
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Systems Engineering / Management – advantage
• Experience in establishing, operating, and maintaining high-voltage facilities – advantage

The Tanoufa Division provides services to the entire IAI organization, including responsibility for infrastructure development and asset management.
