We’re looking for a Head of AI to join our executive team and lead that leap.

What’s the Mission?

As Head of AI, reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll shape how AI transforms our platforms, products, and user experiences — from dynamic pricing and personalization engines to real-time merchant insights and operational AI tools.

What You’ll Lead:

• Define and lead AI strategy aligned with business KPIs: user growth, engagement, monetization, operational efficiency.
• Apply AI within a high-scale, business-driven environment — with a strong focus on e-commerce and consumer platforms.
• Enhance personalization, recommendation engines, and dynamic pricing for 17M users.
• Build and scale AI analytics that generate powerful insights for consumers and businesses alike.
• Constantly evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on business value, not tech complexity.
• Serve as Zap’s thought leader in AI — internally and externally — keeping us ahead of the curve.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, including hands-on model development and strategic planning.
• Proven track record of delivering AI projects with measurable business outcomes — not just models, but metrics.
• Background in e-commerce, consumer platforms, or large-scale data systems — you understand funnels, conversion, retention, LTV.
• Experience with modern ML frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Strong communication skills — you can explain technical concepts to execs and market needs to engineers.
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field. (MBA or hybrid tech-business profile = big plus.).
