Senior Algorithm developer

An innovative startup in the field of surgical robotics is looking for a Senior Algorithm Developer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team.

This role focuses on developing advanced algorithms for robotic systems — combining kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and optimization — to enable high-precision, real-time performance in life-changing medical procedures.

🧠 What You’ll Do

• Design and develop motion and control algorithms for robotic surgical systems

• Translate clinical needs into algorithmic solutions through collaboration with surgeons

• Take part in the full development lifecycle: from design and implementation to testing and release

• Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalable and robust solutions

• Conduct validation, testing, and documentation according to industry standards

• Continuously optimize system performance and motion accuracy

🎓 What We’re Looking For

• BSc or higher in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

• Strong knowledge of serial robotic arm kinematics and dynamics

• Expertise in control theory, motion planning, and optimization techniques

• Experience with signal processing

• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or Python

• Hands-on experience in C++ and/or C# development

• Familiarity with motion control systems and real-world integration

• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Bonus: background in statistics for algorithm performance evaluation
