Planning and Logistics Manager -Pharmaceutical only

We are a growing pharmaceutical company on the path to commercializing our first product, and we’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Planning and Logistics Manager to establish and lead our planning and logistics function for the first time. This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to build core operational infrastructure from the ground up and shape the way we manage planning, logistics, and supply operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement the planning and logistics infrastructure, processes, and workflows from scratch.
• Lead all operational planning activities: demand forecasting, materials planning (MRP), production scheduling, contract packaging coordination, and laboratory scheduling.
• Manage all logistics operations: inbound/outbound shipments, coordination with 3PL providers, transportation, customs clearance, and distribution of final products.
• Directly manage the Warehouse supervisor and oversee warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Lead operational projects within the operations department to improve performance and support commercialization.
• Own procurement of raw materials and consumables; manage relationships with suppliers and external service providers.
• Ensure accuracy and utilization of ERP systems (Priority preferred) and BI tools; build dashboards and reporting tools to support planning and operations.
• Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), operational budgets, and CAPEX plans related to logistics and planning.
• Define and track KPIs to measure efficiency, performance, and alignment with company goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in planning and  logistics management within the pharmaceutical industry – MUST.
• Strong understanding of planning, logistics, inventory control, and operational compliance (GMP/GDP).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Priority preferred) and BI/reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field – MUST.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English (spoken and written).
