DevOps Team Leader, Infrastructure engineering team

looking for a DevOps Team Leader, Infrastructure Global engineering team. This is team Infrastructure Engineers, who closely align to DevOps principals. Your responsibility will be to drive innovation, scale our platforms, and create operational excellence for the xxxx globally distributed network. The person taking this role will have significant scope to influence decisions that will have a significant impact on xxxx infrastructure and how we serve our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Manage, a team of diverse engineers in multiple, global, locations.
2. Work collaboratively with your team to plan their work and ensure that everyone knows what they should be working on.
3. Work with teams across Business Unit to ensure we are providing services and tools that they need.
4. Work with the PMO to plan and execute projects.
5. Apply SRE & DevOps principles to eliminate toil, and improve reliability.
6. Work cross functionally as needed to troubleshoot and resolve business affecting issues.
7. Respond to escalations, help with incident response, RCA’s, provide management of and follow up from postmortems.
8. Establish metrics for data-driven decisions to help increase availability, reliability, and velocity.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of professional experience, at last 2+ years within a leadership role in a cloud/web/CDN scale infrastructure.
2. Experience with Python and Go. C/C++/Rust a plus.
3. Expert-level knowledge of Linux systems, network protocols, experience with BGP and anycast routing is a plus.
4. Experience with DevOps principles and concepts such as Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Saltstack), CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins, Git), monitoring and visualization (Prometheus, Grafana). AWS/GCP
5. Experience with big data technologies such as NoSQL/RDBMS, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka.
6. Experience with containers and container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
7. Experience analyzing and building data telemetry, modeling, pipelines, UI visualization.
8. Experience in developing software, troubleshooting, and monitoring large scale distributed systems.
9. Implement modern software engineering best practices/standards and adhere/maintain software development life cycle.
