System Engineer

The Land Systems Directorate within the Missile and Space Systems Division is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the development of advanced multidisciplinary projects.

The position includes:

• Managing the engineering development process within the project

• Identifying and analyzing customer requirements, developing system requirements, and allocating them to subsystems

• Managing technical requirements for the system and its subsystems

• Planning and executing system integration

• Planning and conducting system verification and validation tests

• Identifying and managing technical risks within the project

• Identifying engineering knowledge gaps and defining actions to close them

• Managing the overall engineering effort

• Defining the development environment, infrastructure, tools, procedures, and required resources

• Managing engineering data and documentation

• Leading technical and peer reviews

• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and partners

• Adapting and justifying the required engineering deliverables at each project stage

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical & Control, or Communication Engineering – required

• M.Sc. in Mechanical or Systems Engineering – strong advantage

• At least 3 years of experience in the development and production of multidisciplinary systems

• Proven experience in transitioning products to production, integration, and system testing – required

• Experience in mechanical systems development – significant advantage

• Engineering background in mechanical domains – advantage

• Knowledge in manufacturing processes and configuration management

• Experience collaborating with various engineering disciplines such as control and integration

• Experience leading development in a matrix organization

• Proficiency in writing system definition documents

• High-level English proficiency
