Information System Manager

Job Description:

The Information Systems Manager will be responsible for defining, developing, leading, and managing all aspects of information systems at Nofar Energy. This role includes full responsibility for overseeing the organization’s information systems — from identifying and analyzing needs, through system selection and implementation, to ongoing maintenance. The manager will work closely with all company departments to ensure systems optimally and efficiently support business processes. The role also includes developing and leading continuous improvement processes, promoting technological innovation, and identifying new technological solutions that support the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and define the organization’s information systems needs in collaboration with various departments.
• Drive technological innovation by integrating advanced solutions such as BI systems, AI-driven tools, and automation processes.
• Turn the information systems strategy into a clear, actionable plan that supports the company’s goals.
• Manage the selection, implementation, and upgrading of information systems.
• Manage external vendors and service providers.
• Oversee integration between the organization’s information systems.
• Provide ongoing support and user training for information systems.
• Responsible for information security and compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Manage the information systems budget and oversee budget execution.
• Oversee all computing equipment within the organization, including preparing equipment for new employees.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.) – required.
• Relevant master's degree – an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience managing information systems in a medium-to-large organization – required.
• Proven experience in specifying, implementing, and managing ERP, CRM, and BI systems.
• In-depth understanding of business operations and organizational workflows.
• Proven ability to manage projects, including budgets and timelines.
• Knowledge and understanding of information security and related regulations.
• Strong ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Broad systemic perspective, strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities and excellent interpersonal communication.
