Government and Public Policy Affairs Specialist

Role Description

• Initiating, drafting, and promoting legislation, policy papers, policy programs, and professional presentations (in both Hebrew and English).
• Representing the organization in Knesset committees, government ministries, embassies, multilateral institutions, and civil society organizations.
• Leading partnerships with local and international stakeholders, including governmental bodies, intergovernmental organizations, and civil society actors.
• Initiating and leading public campaigns and dialogue frameworks for social and political impact
• Identifying regulatory trends and relevant legislation.
• Advancing the organization’s foreign policy in strategic areas and building long-term international collaborations.
• Monitoring and generating insights from parliamentary procedures and relevant public discussions.

Qualifications

Relevant Bachelor's degree – required

Proven experience in writing and editing policy documents, position papers, and political communication – required

Proven experience in managing cross-sectoral processes and establishing inter-organizational partnerships – required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English – required

Parliamentary experience (Knesset, government ministries) – strong advantage

• Experience working with international bodies / embassies / intergovernmental institutions – significant advantage
