System Engineer - Detection and Interception

System Engineer – Detection and Interception | אשדוד| IAI – ELTA Systems

We are looking for a System Engineer to join the Detection and Interception team at IAI’s ELTA Division, developing advanced electronic defense systems.

The position includes:

• Leading multidisciplinary radar system development projects throughout the full lifecycle

• Participating in marketing activities and defining technical requirements and system specifications

• Defining system algorithms and managing technical requirements

• Supporting system development and integration

• Writing test plans and managing system-level verification and validation processes

• Integrating systems into operational platforms and providing customer support

• Matrix collaboration with software and signal processing teams, and coordination with system and analysis engineers

• International travel as part of the role

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Physics – mandatory

• At least 3 years of experience in system engineering – mandatory

• Experience in defining requirements and writing system specifications

• Experience in radar system development or leading radar-related projects

• Experience in system-level and inter-system testing

• Experience in leading and analyzing complex system experiments

• Experience in algorithm development

• Experience working with radar systems as a project officer or system engineer – advantage

• Specialization in radar and signal processing – advantage

• Familiarity with MMR radar systems – strong advantage

• Experience working with MATLAB – advantage

• Strong leadership, organizational skills, independence, and teamwork abilities
