Founding Software Engineer

Our founding team includes serial entrepreneurs with two successful exits. With substantial seed funding secured, we are building with discipline, focus, and a long-term vision. We are looking for a senior-level, hands-on software engineer to join our technical founding team. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture, infrastructure, and product direction from the ground up. This is a high-impact opportunity to build a modular, scalable system in a fast-paced environment where engineering decisions directly influence the company’s trajectory.

• Design and implement scalable microservices and cloud-native backend systems
• Build event-driven data pipelines and performance-sensitive features
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, observability tooling, and security guardrails
• Deliver MVPs rapidly while laying down a long-term, extensible foundation
• Work alongside a seasoned engineering team to set standards and continuously raise the bar on quality and velocity
  

• 8 or more years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3 years at early-stage B2B SaaS startups
• Proven ability to architect and deliver production systems in a hands-on capacity
• Experience with domain-driven design, distributed systems, and infrastructure-as-code
• Deep familiarity with AWS or other modern cloud platforms
• Strong opinions on software design, system reliability, and scalable delivery practices
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity while maintaining high technical standards
  

• Experience in the DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) or CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) space
• Familiarity with data modeling, schema management, and governance workflows
• Computer Science degree or equivalent formal education
  

• Directly influence the core product and technical direction alongside experienced founders
• Build foundational infrastructure that defines how the company scales
• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence and velocity from day one
• Participate meaningfully in equity and long-term upside
