Manager of Business Applications

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Business Applications Manager to join our fast-growing startup as our first dedicated business systems hire. This is a unique opportunity to build the company’s business applications ecosystem from the ground up, ensuring our systems scale with the company’s hyper-growth.

You’ll own the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of core business applications, with a strong focus on Salesforce administration and adjacent platforms (HubSpot, Priority ERP, and other SaaS tools). You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Product to drive operational excellence, data integrity, and process automation.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you’ll wear many hats, get your hands dirty, and make a direct impact on the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, administer, and enhance our Salesforce platform, including configuration, customizations (flows, validation rules, dynamic forms), user management, and day-to-day support.
• Design and build scalable integrations between Salesforce and other systems like HubSpot, Priority ERP, ZoomInfo, Gong, Tableau, Monday etc.
• Act as the subject matter expert and administrator for other key business applications (HubSpot, Priority ERP, and additional SaaS tools), ensuring proper implementation, adoption, and optimization.
• Partner with department leads to gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Architect and implement scalable, automated workflows and processes to support business growth.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues, ensuring data accuracy and a seamless user experience.
• Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics to enable informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Lead projects to onboard and integrate additional business applications as the company’s needs evolve.
• Define governance, documentation, and best practices for business systems, ensuring compliance and scalability.
• Provide training, support, and enablement to end-users across the company.
  
  

Requirements:

 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with proven expertise in configuration, automation (Flows, Process Builder), custom objects, Lightning, validation rules, page layouts, and user management.

 Demonstrated experience managing other business applications, ideally including HubSpot, Priority ERP, and integrations.

 Strong knowledge of SaaS business applications architecture and integrations, including middleware and API-based solutions.

 Experience implementing, customizing, and supporting business systems in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 Salesforce Administrator Certification – An advantage.

 Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have:

 Experience with Sales Cloud, Workato, Salto, Jira, or similar tools.

 Knowledge of SQL/SOQL.

 Background in supporting Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success processes and systems.

 Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and best practices in a SaaS B2B environment.
