NPI Engineer

Job description:

Exodigo is looking for a NPI Engineer. Your daily work will include:

• Responsible for transitioning products from the development phase to production.
• Ownership on the BOM, both building and maintaining.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensuresmooth product introduction.
• Manage engineering change orders (ECO) and update documentation accordingly.
• Build and define manufacturing files and instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process.
• Provide valuable feedback to the design engineers on the manufacturing and assemblingprocess. While keeping the BOM as small as possible.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 Years experience as an NPI engineer.
• Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks, Fusion.
• Familiarity with ECO processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with PDM and ERP software, especially 3dExperience and NetSuite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with oƯice software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
• Experience with technical writing.
  
  

• Experience in the electromechanical multi-disciplinary product manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of other CAD software is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with small companies NPI process.
• Experience implementing NPI processes.
