Junior Economist

A well-known, large-scale company is recruiting a Junior Economist - the position reports to the plant’s Chief Economist and supports the entire economic activity of the site – including financial analysis, product costing, financial reporting, inventory analysis, ongoing reports, and participation in presenting data to the operations management and relevant committees.

📌 Temporary project for one year with a real option for extension.

Employment is via outsourcing.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Support in product cost pricing and cost analysis.
• Review actual operational performance versus standards and budgets; monitor production reports.
• Data analysis: sales, purchasing, gross profit, etc.
• Monitor and control inventory, handle problematic and non-moving stock, and manage inventory provisions.
• Calculate customs exemption eligibility based on international trade agreements and manage local taxation.
• Collaborate with group companies abroad on various topics: inventory, forecasting, tracking raw material and finished goods purchase/sales prices.
• Provide data for financial reports, estimates, and work plans.
• Support the presentation of analyses to senior management.
• Provide economic support for company projects.
