We are looking for

The VP of Research & Discovery/CSO will provide scientific vision and leadership for the Computational Discovery and Research and Drug Discovery groups in alignment with the mission and goals of the Company, with an overall responsibility for establishing and executing the research and drug discovery strategy underlying the Company’s innovative portfolio of product candidates

.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a group of ~40 scientists and managers - computational and life science personnel
• Establish research priorities, resourcing, and scientific outcomes to achieve the Company’s strategic goals and objectives
• Responsible for early pipeline portfolio in accordance with the overall Company strategy.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to deliver high quality lead candidates for clinical development
• Supervise the interactions with external academic, and contract research organizations (CR
• O)Engage external research environment and establish collaborations consistent with internal strategies
• Lead research-related external business development discussions, pharma collaborations and act as a spokesperson with the investment community discussions

Qualification:

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
• 10-20+ years of experience in biotech/pharma with proven track record of scientific leadership
• Track record of taking drug candidates from concept to clinical testing
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary R&D teams in a dynamic environment
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills
