Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Department Manager 1246

Reports to: Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Department.
• Manage employees and oversee contractors in accordance with company procedures and safety standards; recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
• Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and annual work plans.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and define minimum stock levels for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Update and write maintenance procedures and work instructions for the department.
• Maintain technical documentation, drawings, and specifications in the company database.
• Ensure operational reliability and availability of electrical infrastructure and equipment, troubleshoot failures, and perform required maintenance.
• Define professional policies in the EI&C field and represent OPC with external entities such as regulatory bodies and the Israel Electric Corporation.
• Ensure full compliance with Israeli electrical laws and standards.
• Generate reports, monitor KPIs, and analyze operational events.
• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for failures and implement corrective actions.
• Provide professional and timely service to internal stakeholders (Operations, Mechanical Department, Safety, etc.) while maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Prepare and manage the annual department budget, including vendor contracts and procurement.
• Initiate and lead projects, including efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (High Voltage).
• High-level Hebrew & English including technical terminology-MUST.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance in power plants – strong advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office – required; SAP knowledge – advantage.
• Availability for work Sunday–Thursday, 07:00–16:00, with flexibility to stay until 18:00 at least twice a week and on-call 24/7.

Valid driver's license required (company car included).
