About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and certified Sheet Metal Technician to join our client’s aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will contribute to the assembly and sub-assembly of aircraft structures, precision drilling and fastening, and interpretation of technical drawings while ensuring compliance with aviation quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural work for the production of sub-assemblies and assemblies

• Inspect assembly kits and perform assembly using jigs

• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately

• Drill, seal, bond, and install structural components using fasteners such as solid rivets, blind rivets, lockbolts, and Hi-lok fasteners

• Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness in all structural work

• Follow all safety and procedural guidelines, including working at heights and in high-noise environments

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structural work

• Certification in aircraft structural work (profession code 521 or equivalent)

• Proven ability to use precision tools (e.g., squeezer, drill)

• Strong understanding of structural materials and corrosion prevention techniques

• Ability to carry weights and work while standing or kneeling

• Willingness to work overtime and in shifts, including second shifts as needed

• Compliance with client work schedule and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or MRO environments

• Familiarity with inspection standards and documentation processes
