Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager |Yehud| IAI – Missile & Space Systems Division

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the Defense Systems Plant within the Missile & Space Systems Division at IAI.

The position includes

:· Full technical management throughout all stages of the project, including responsibility for engineering design and execution, with an emphasis on hardware and mechanical architecture, while addressing technical issues as they arise

.· Providing tailored technological solutions that meet customer needs

.· Engaging with diverse disciplines such as hardware, cabling, networking and RF communications, mechanics, and vehicles

.· Overseeing the engineering design implementation of subcontractor deliverables in accordance with project requirements

.· Leading and managing system integration and acceptance testing in laboratories and field environments, both in Israel and abroad—including FAT execution and system delivery to the customer

.· Representing technical authority and leadership to internal teams and customers

.· Acting as the technical point of contact for subcontractors in Israel and abroad, liaising with internal IAI units

.· Participating in and leading system-level trials domestically and internationally

.· Planning and supporting deployment of the tested systems and auxiliary systems in the field

.· Working closely with the Program Manager and Chief Systems Engineer to ensure system readiness for delivery

r:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Electro-Optics, or Aeronautics – requir

ed· At least 3 years of experience in technical management and/or development of multidisciplinary systems – requir

ed· Proven experience in team leadership or completion of a command course – requir

ed· Strong command of English – requir

ed· Master’s degree in Systems Engineering – advanta

ge· Military service in a technological unit – advanta

ge· Experience with airborne or air defense systems – advanta

ge· Knowledge of additional languages – advanta

ge· Willingness to travel abroad several times a year, sometimes at high intensi
