The Support Development Team is responsible for developing and maintaining applications that support internal teams. These applications streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and automate repetitive tasks. By providing tailored technical solutions, the team enhances the productivity and effectiveness of support teams. As a key part of the organization, the team ensures that operational processes run smoothly and efficiently. Its vision is to create scalable, user-centric solutions that minimize friction and maximize impact. Through continuous innovation, the team empowers support teams to focus on delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based tools that enhance the efficiency and workflow of our Support Engineers.
• Identify and integrate innovations into our existing ecosystem, continuously seeking modernization and improvement.
• Aid in troubleshooting any tool-related issues ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, supporting scalability, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.
• Explore and experiment with emerging technologies to discover innovative approaches that enhance our solutions.
• Work closely with Support Engineers, translating their challenges into impactful and actionable technical solutions.
• Primary development is in Python, but some projects involve Golang and other technologies, offering opportunities to expand technical expertise.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of best practices and software design principles.
• Experience with development in one of Python’s web-frameworks (Django, Flask)
• Excellent organizational, analytical abilities and problem solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working in a Linux environment, including familiarity with shell scripting, system operations, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in various system-level topics – Storage, Networking.
• Familiarity with frontend development frameworks, specifically NextJS or similar React-based frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud environments, with AWS experience being a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
