Division Manager – IT Infrastructure & Operations

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field – required.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems Management or Business Administration – an advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, including data centers and/or HPC, in a large organization.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large IT teams in the areas of infrastructure, networking, information security, and operations.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects with multi-million shekel budgets, working with multiple vendors, and deep familiarity with the relevant market and technologies.
• Advantage: Experience managing IT infrastructure in an academic or research environment.

• Proven knowledge and experience in managing large data centers, including electrical systems, cooling, and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency and experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in virtualization and cloud solutions, advanced storage systems, and backup and disaster recovery (DR) infrastructures.
• Knowledge and experience working with advanced networking and cybersecurity technologies.

• Strong leadership and significant experience in managing large-scale professional teams.
• Strategic planning, complex problem-solving, and making critical technological decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, high service orientation, and the ability to work with academic and administrative stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
