SAP ABAP Team Leader for a leading Company! 5143

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP professional to take on a leadership role in a major financial institution. This position includes leading a team of developers, providing technical solutions for complex SAP challenges, and overseeing the implementation of new and innovative SAP projects.

Note: Prior managerial experience in ABAP specifically is not required — candidates with leadership experience in other areas are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of three SAP ABAP developers, providing daily guidance and oversight.
• Plan, design, and implement new SAP projects and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, implementation teams, and BASIS professionals to develop customized solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure the team adheres to development standards and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely project delivery.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and participate in organizational Agile routines and tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience across modules such as FI, MM, HR, and BP.
• Previous experience in team leadership or management in any technical field – advantage!
• Strong understanding of business processes and their integration within SAP systems.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5, SAP BW, and interface tools such as PI/PO – advantage.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• Excellent multitasking and self-learning capabilities.

Education:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering (Information Systems), or relevant advanced IT studies.
