About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our in-house team and play a key role in maintaining and evolving our deployment pipelines, on-premises infrastructure, and cloud environments. This position is fully on-site and best suited for someone who thrives in regulated, high-security environments and values autonomy, ownership, and continuous learning.

You will work closely with our development team to streamline deployments, monitor systems, and troubleshoot production issues with speed and care. Our environment operates under regulatory oversight, so security standards and accountability are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to plan, execute, and optimize deployment processes.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and custom scripting.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Manage on-premises Linux servers and RKE2 Kubernetes clusters.
• Ensure infrastructure meets high security and compliance requirements.
• Use observability tools (Fluentbit, Logstash, OpenSearch) to monitor and respond to issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code efforts using Pulumi (primarily for AWS).
• Participate in environment hardening and internal audits as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with:
• GitHub / GitHub Actions
• CI/CD scripting and pipeline development
• Linux Servers
• Kubernetes (preferably RKE2)
• AWS infrastructure and tooling
• Infrastructure as code (Pulumi or similar)
• Monitoring/logging tools like Fluentbit, Logstash, OpenSearch
• Strong understanding of security best practices in regulated environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Self-management and ownership of deliverables.
• Ability to learn and adapt independently in a dynamic environment.
