Job description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Cloud team and lead infrastructure and data engineering efforts on customer-facing projects. This is a hands-on role that blends DevOps automation with modern data architecture and cloud to deliver robust, scalable solutions directly to our clients.

You will work closely with customers, project managers, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, design infrastructure, implement data workflows, and ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems. Your work will power real-world data-driven systems, applications and services used by our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver client data from multiple sources.
• Work with structured and unstructured data, applying data transformation and integration best practices.
• Build scalable data storage solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures, tailored to customer needs.
• Optimize data processing performance to meet SLA and cost targets in customer environments.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance through automation and validation frameworks.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying customer-specific applications and data solutions.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform.
• Work directly with client teams to support deployment, scaling, and ongoing operations of delivered solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps and/or Data Engineering roles, preferably in client-facing settings.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data lake/warehouse/Lakehouse solutions.
• Experience deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps automation, and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable platforms.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, including requirement gathering, solution design, and technical presentations.
