We're looking for a temporary contract (maternity leave substitute) Corporate Counsel with operational orientation to our powerhouse legal function who is pragmatic and enthusiastic. An entrepreneurial thinker who can master commercial contracts. Reporting directly to our General Counsel, you will partner closely with our go-to-market teams on commercial contracts, negotiate contracts with vendors ,and take part in implementing creative business solutions to scale our Legal team.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of vendor and partner agreements
• Work closely with the go-to-market teams on drafting, negotiating, managing, and executing agreements with a wide variety of customers
• Manage the company's option pool and related agreements, including the granting and exercise of options.
• Work with our GC on overarching legal and company initiatives and projects
• Collaborate closely with finance, HR, Compliance, and other departments to gather information, analyze data, and ensure alignment with compliance requirements
• Provide administrative support, manage the company's insurance policies and department’s affairs, including the department's budget, and provide direct support to the General Counsel.
• Take charge of maintaining the backbone of our corporate structure by overseeing entity management and ensuring meticulous maintenance of our charter documents and corporate resolutions.
  
  

• Law Degree from accredited Law School
• Licensed Attorney in good standing
• 3-4 years of previous experience ( e.g. , technology/data privacy department of a law firm or in-house legal department of a technology/SaaS company, focused on commercial transactions)
• High level of English language skill both written and verbal
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Hardworking, detail oriented, proactive team member with proven project management skills to consistently complete projects timely with great attention to detail; capability to handle multiple assignments and manage major projects to successful completion
• High level of professionalism and loyalty; ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible mindset combined with technical knowledge and passion for innovation
