Automation Engineer

A multidisciplinary startup has developed an innovative AI product set to revolutionize human communication, addressing challenges in interpersonal interactions between individuals and their environment while making communication accessible to everyone.

The role-

• Build and lead the automation function from the ground up
• Take full ownership of automation planning and development
• Design and develop testing infrastructure and automated tests using Python
• Collaborate closely with the QA team (including a dedicated QA engineer)
• Work on a complex, data-rich, and algorithm-driven product
• Opportunity to grow into a managerial role as the company expands

Requirements -

• 5 years of experience in QA automation
• Experience in leading teams
• Expertise in leading QA methodologies, automation tools, and frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting languages suitable for automation such as Python or JavaScript
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Deep knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Familiarity with hardware integration and debugging - huge advantage
• Experience with ARM and x86 Linux environments - advantage
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
