Venture Leader / CEO for AI-Based Technology Startup

RTC Vision (www.rtc-vision.com) is launching an innovative new venture that integrates advanced audio processing, video-based lip reading, and large language models (LLMs) to enable real-time transcription in challenging, noisy environments.

With core technology development and initial market validation, this venture is ready to spin out as an independent company focused on dynamic growth. While the primary application is in assistive technology for the hearing impaired, the technology also has strong potential also in consumer and defense markets.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven, experienced manager to lead this venture from its early stages. This leader will be instrumental in strategic planning, business development, and go-to-market (GTM) execution, helping to shape the impact of this innovative product. Additionally, the role involves leading investor engagement to secure funding and ensure a successful spin-out from RTC Vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Business Development: Develop a comprehensive business case that emphasizes the technology’s unique advantages and market potential, initially for the hearing-impaired community, with expansion into consumer and defense markets.
• Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Design and execute a GTM strategy to engage early adopters, validate product-market fit, and build a strong presence in target markets.
• Fundraising: Drive investor outreach, develop compelling pitch materials, and clearly communicate the technology’s transformative vision to secure initial funding.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, collaborating with RTC Vision’s tech teams to meet key milestones and optimize the product based on feedback.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within startups or technology-focused environments; strong product management capabilities; experience in assistive tech or consumer electronics is a plus.
• Strategic Insight: Proven business acumen with the ability to formulate and drive a clear strategic plan.
• Technical and GTM Expertise: Strong understanding of GTM strategies for innovative tech solutions; familiarity with LLMs or real-time transcription technologies is advantageous.
• Fundraising Skills: Demonstrated ability to attract investment and engage effectively with investors.
• Exceptional Communication: Skilled at articulating complex concepts and building confidence among technical teams and investors.
