Supplier Quality Engineer

We're hiring: Supplier Quality Engineer – 1-Year Temporary Position

📍 Location: Yokneam | Hybrid model

A leading medical device company is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality team for a temporary role of approx. 12 months.

This is a hands-on role focusing on managing supplier quality processes, audits, and improvements across our global supply chain. You’ll work closely with QA, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure compliance with international standards and support manufacturing and development activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead qualification and maintenance of suppliers (local and global)

• Conduct supplier audits (remote/on-site), including documentation and follow-up

• Manage supplier non-conformities (SCARs), including root cause analysis and implementation of CAPAs

• Monitor supplier KPIs and initiate improvement plans

• Collaborate with R&D and purchasing during NPI and transfer-to-production projects

• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and MDSAP requirements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Quality, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

• 2–3 years of experience in supplier quality – required

• Experience in the medical device industry – strong advantage

• Solid knowledge of ISO 13485, QSR, and MDSAP – must

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Fluent English – written and spoken

• Experience working with international suppliers – advantage
