Data Engineer

A data-focused startup developing a cloud-based platform that enables sales and marketing teams worldwide to share business information and gain insights about target customers. The platform also recommends relevant potential clients, streamlining the business data collection process and allowing users to focus on selling.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, with a hybrid work model (2 days remote), employing about 300 people, with offices also in the US.

The company raised $205M in a Series B round at a $1.5B valuation, becoming a unicorn.

The role is part of a development team, working primarily in Python, with mandatory experience in Spark and Airflow.

Tech stack includes NoSQL databases, Spark, Kafka, Athena, Elasticsearch, Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Requirements-

• 2+ years experience in designing and implementing server-side Data solutions.
• 3+ years programming experience, preferably in Python and SQL.
• Experience implementing algorithmic solutions, data mining, and analytical methodologies.
• Able to use orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
• Experience with Data Lake, Spark - Advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem - Advantage.
• Familiarity with the following tools: Kafka, DataBricks, Jenkins - advantage.
• Experience working with various database engines (relational, document storage, key-value, time series) - ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgres, MySQL
