About the Role

Nisha Group is hiring an experienced Embedded Software Engineer on behalf of one of our leading clients in Central Israel. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology within a multidisciplinary development team. The role is hybrid, combining flexibility with collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain embedded software components for real-time systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, algorithm, and VLSI.
• Write clean, efficient C/C++ code for performance-critical applications.
• Take ownership of specific features or modules throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in embedded environments.
• Prepare design documentation, conduct code reviews, and support testing processes.

What You Need to Succeed

Mandatory:

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience working with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX).
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and hardware interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with software architecture and design patterns.
• Background in video processing (encoding/decoding).
• Exposure to system-level development or high-performance computing.
• Knowledge of modem technologies (e.g., OFDM).
