What are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Fullstack Engineer (with Ruby on Rails) to

join our IT team as freelance based on Israel. If you're passionate about building scalable web

applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using data to drive impactful

solutions, ifeel is the place for you.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Design and build solid, scalable and maintainable Rails applications.
• Develop interactive, user-friendly web interfaces using React ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure excellent test coverage and adherence to best practices.
• Create a positive environment for the people around you, sharing knowledge with everyone and helping the team grow.
• Collaborate with designers, team leads and stakeholders to understand business goals, analyze requirements and propose scalable, long-term technical solutions.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• At least 6 years of proven experience in a similar rol.
• Native Hebrew, fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• A focus on code quality driven by automated testing.
• Experience in Ruby/Rails and Javascript Frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue…
• Experience with GIT.
• Experience in Unit, Integration and Acceptance testing using RSpec and Capybara.
• Experience on the most common AWS services (S3, EC, Cloudfront, etc.)
• Experience with SaaS development and RESTful API development.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID design principles and design patterns.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as familiarity with modern front-end tooling and best practices

We would love to know more about you if you have:

• Interest in psychology and mental health.
• Async tasks with Sidekiq
• A solid understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Capistrano, GitHub, or similar.
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Great sense of independence and a proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Analytical capacities and direct contact with clients
• Experience working with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry, New Relic).
