Software System Product Architect

We are looking for a Software System Product Architect to join our team at IAI-ELTA!

What will you do:

• Collaborate with business units, customers, engineers, and operational subject matter experts to understand and define requirements and objectives.
• Define the mission management system product roadmap, balancing generic and project-specific requirements
• Collaborate with software architects to create and present architectural designs
• Ensure that the solutions are aligned with the best practices, standards, and principles of software and systems engineering
• Develop and maintain technical specifications to define system architecture, system capabilities, requirements, and processes
• Participate in customer reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
• Prepare presentations, participate in integrations, and travel abroad as needed
• Apply requirements management best practices using state-of the art requirements management tools
• Provide guidance and support to the software development team throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in multi-disciplinary systems engineering teams
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the field of archWhat we're looking for: itecture and software engineering

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited academic institution – Mandatory
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science – Advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in writing and owning software requirements and design specifications - Significant advantage
• Experience in software development - Advantage
• Familiarity with requirements management and testing tools – Advantage
• Experience with C4I systems - Advantage

The System Architecture domain at the Airborne Systems Division leads the design of mission aircraft, mission management systems, and simulators for mission aircraft. Our flagship product is the mission management system for mission aircraft, including operator stations, pilot displays, and a wide range of sensors, effectors and communication systems. Our activity spans system definition, system architecture specification for its various components, and design of systems and products.
