Head of Cybersecurity and Information Security | Ashdod | ELTA Systems

ELTA Systems, a leading division and subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), is seeking a Head of Cybersecurity and Information Security to lead and manage cyber operations within its Software Division.

The position includes:

• Managing a 24/7 Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) for monitoring and response

• Designing and approving IT architecture with a focus on cybersecurity and information security

• Leading GRC policy implementation including ISO standards, national regulations, and cyber risk assessments

• Managing a team of cybersecurity architects and automation professionals

• Overseeing infrastructure and application changes, including security hardening and penetration testing

• Leading incident response, malware analysis, and threat hunting processes

• Implementing the organizational cyber strategy and building annual cybersecurity work plans

• Serving as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity across systems and applications

What we’re looking for:

• Israeli citizenship

• Academic degree, engineering background, technician certification, or CISO professional training

• At least 3 years of experience in information security, including team leadership

• Proven experience working with internal and external stakeholders

• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

• Strong understanding of communication infrastructure, storage, and backup systems

• Experience in a large organization with over 500 employees

• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
