Software Engineering Team Lead

A Fintech Start-Up has developed a platform for eCommerce financing, connecting businesses with financial institutions and enabling online stores to offer customers financing options at the point of purchase.

The company operates primarily in the U.S. market, recently completed a Series B funding round, and already works with paying customers.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (near a train line), the company offers a hybrid work model with two days from home.

The role includes managing a team of two developers and one QA engineer, with 50% hands-on development in .NET Core. You’ll work with modern technologies in a cloud-based environment.

Founded in 2016, the company employs around 60 people in Israel and 40 in the U.S.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend systems
• 2 years of experience in team leadership or technical leadership roles
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core, with hands-on experience in microservices architecture
• Experience working with MongoDB and cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent
• Familiarity with React or frontend integration components
• Solid understanding of system design, API integrations, and communication with external partners
• Excellent communication skills in English and experience working with global teams
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on development work
