Research And Development Manager (Digital Health)

One of our clients, a fast-growing Health Tech company, is seeking to hire a Web & Mobile Applications Development Group Manager.

A growing tech company is working on a smart solution that uses AI to support continuous monitoring and early detection of health-related events, with a focus on improving care for vulnerable populations at home.

In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the development of the company's core applications – both Web and Mobile – across a global full-stack team.

You'll lead approximately 15 experienced developers and tech leads based in Israel and Eastern Europe. The position requires strong technical leadership, strategic planning, and close collaboration with product teams to ensure top-notch delivery standards and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a global full-stack development group (approx. 15 developers), including remote team management.
• Full ownership of the Web and Mobile application development lifecycle – from planning to deployment.
• Provide technical guidance, including architecture design, code reviews, and technology stack decisions.
• Build efficient work processes, define goals and KPIs, and lead Agile and Delivery workflows.
• Implement high-quality QA processes and code control practices.
• Mentor and professionally develop developers and tech leads.
• Collaborate with product, design, and production teams from specification to live implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing technological development teams, including distributed teams.
• Strong Full Stack development background with Node.js, React, and AWS.
• Experience with Mobile Native or React Native – a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices environments.
• Proven ability to drive teams toward results while maintaining high code quality.
• Experience working with product teams and strong user-oriented thinking.
• Excellent English – both written and spoken.
