Marketing and Industry Relations Coordinator Faculty of Biology

Job Description:

The Faculty of Biology is seeking a dynamic and proactive coordinator to strengthen visibility and branding, develop industry relations, and create a supportive community for students and alumni.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Marketing and Public Relations: Creating marketing content, managing social media and digital media, updating the faculty website, leading campaigns for open days across all study tracks, developing relationships with schools, and more.
• Industry Relations: Developing relationships with companies in life sciences fields, promoting joint academia-industry projects, organizing roundtables and conferences, creating connections between employers and alumni.
• Projects: Developing activities and initiatives to enrich the academic and social experience at the faculty, developing relationships with alumni. Supporting the organization of study days/scientific conferences for faculty members.

Required Skills:

✓ Bachelor's degree

✓ Experience in marketing and public relations

✓ Experience in digital media and social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

✓ Excellent writing skills in Hebrew and English

✓ Independent and proactive work style

✓ Excellent interpersonal communication

✓ Service-oriented approach

Advantages:

✓ Experience in academic institutions

✓ Background in life sciences (academic or practical)

✓ Familiarity with industry/high-tech/biotech world

✓ Experience working with design software and website updating (Canva, Photoshop, WordPress)

✓ Experience in organizing and producing events/conferences
