Network & Security Engineer – Enterprise IT Division | Financial Organization

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer to join our core IT division. In this role, you'll be responsible for the implementation, management, and maintenance of advanced network and cybersecurity infrastructure in complex, sensitive environments.

You will lead and support cybersecurity projects across the organization, including integration with internal and external interfaces, incident response, and ongoing infrastructure and application troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage communication and cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Lead and support cross-functional security initiatives and incident response processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure/application-related issues in collaboration with development and IT teams.
• Deploy and integrate new cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Ensure operational continuity across network and security systems in data center and campus environments.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in communication and cybersecurity roles – mandatory.
• Proven experience in network architecture design with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and architecture – required.
• Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity projects with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving infrastructure/application issues.
• Proven expertise in deploying new cybersecurity solutions.
• Significant experience with Data Center and Campus switches including VxLAN, EVPN, Arista, 4500, 9400, 9300, and ISE (NAC).
• Extensive knowledge of Fortinet products – FGT, FMG, FAC, FAZ, MAIL.
• Extensive experience with F5 solutions – LTM, ASM, APM.
• Solid background with Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) solutions – SASA Multi, MAIL.
