Cloud Transformation Department Lead

We are recruiting for a leading financial organization an exceptional leader to establish and lead its Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) — the strategic hub for enterprise cloud transformation.

You will lead the formation and operation of a new department that will drive the company's cloud adoption strategy, governance, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the CCoE team (Cloud Architecture, Automation, FinOps).
• Define and implement the enterprise cloud strategy (Governance, Best Practices).
• Design secure, scalable cloud platforms for AI, data, and infrastructure workloads.
• Lead architecture for Landing Zones, cloud networking, and security models.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, IT, InfoSec, and business units.
• Develop a cloud service catalog and CI/CD processes.
• Champion innovation across AI/Data cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams (Cloud/DevOps preferred).
• Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud architectures (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms.
• Strong knowledge in cloud security, governance, and FinOps practices.
• Prior experience in enterprise-scale environments – required.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) – a plus.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
