OS Core Team Leader – Embedded Linux | R&D Leadership Role

A leading cybersecurity company is looking for an experienced and passionate OS Core Team Leader to take part in designing and building the next generation of hardware-based platforms. This is a key leadership role in the R&D group, driving low-level innovation in a high-impact environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team focused on integrating hardware with a custom Linux-based OS
• Collaborate with multiple R&D teams to implement OS-related features and enhancements
• Research and develop features tailored for specific customers
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities in the operating system
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute directly to code and architecture

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent education
• Proven experience in team leadership or technical ownership
• At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong passion for low-level development, operating systems, and hardware integration
• Proficiency in C/C++ development in Linux environments
• In-depth understanding of Linux OS internals
• Knowledge of networking and communication protocols in Linux
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
