Mechanical Design Engineer – Electronic Enclosures

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design of electronic enclosures, including sheet metal, plastic, and hybrid assemblies.
Collaborate with electrical and system engineers to ensure seamless integration of PCBs, connectors, thermal solutions, and EMI shielding.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
Support prototyping, testing, and transition to mass production.
Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic enclosure design.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and thermal/EMI considerations.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and with suppliers.
Fluent in English; excellent communication and documentation skills.
