Cyber Security Team Leader

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Team Leader, located in Haifa, with occasional international travel as needed.

The Cyber Security Team Leader will be responsible for managing and mentoring a professional cyber team, building and executing work plans, monitoring progress, and leading technological implementations.

This role combines hands-on cybersecurity expertise with leadership responsibilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading team operations, including task planning, execution, and review
• Training and mentoring team members
• Gathering business and technical requirements, defining implementation phases, and identifying risks in sensitive environments
• Writing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and procedures
• Interfacing with IT infrastructure and cyber stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and mentoring cyber teams
• Strong knowledge in Application Security, Information Security, and Network Security
• Experience in integration and implementation of cybersecurity tools (NAC, AV, FW, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Digital certificates and Certificate Authorities (Microsoft)
• Network technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, 2FA, routers, switches, firewalls)
• OS-level hardening and administration (Windows, UNIX), including CIS benchmarks
• Hardware knowledge including BIOS configurations
• Security tools such as McAfee, Fortinet, Juniper, and FORESCOUT
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage cybersecurity-related risks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH – a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally
