What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Collection Team – an agile, startup-like unit responsible for building and scaling LSports’ real-time data collection platform.
• Drive innovation, infrastructure design, and performance optimization for a mission-critical system processing petabytes of sports data worldwide.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, fostering ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee complex development projects from design to deployment, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and low-latency data processing.
• Anticipate delivery risks and technical bottlenecks, implementing proactive solutions for system resilience and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other teams to align technical roadmaps and feature planning.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience leading software development teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in Node.js and React, with deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, BullMQ, Redis, and Kubernetes in the context of building high-throughput, real-time systems.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software projects from concept to production.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage ambiguity, and commitment to delivering measurable value.
• Thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment where experimentation, rapid iteration, and personal ownership are valued.
  
  

• Experience with data collection technologies and challenges such as concurrency, anti-bot defenses, and proxy infrastructures.
